The parts people get wrong
Two things decide whether a banner works: finishing and legibility. Hems and grommets are what stop an outdoor banner tearing itself apart in the first month, and they are the easiest thing for a cheap supplier to skip. Legibility is a function of viewing distance, so a banner read from across a parking lot needs a different design to one read from ten feet away in a lobby.
We would rather ask where it is hanging and how far away the reader is before designing it, because those two answers change the artwork more than anything else.
Reorders and matched sets
We keep artwork on file, so a repeat run, a replacement for a damaged banner, or the same design at a second location is a phone call rather than a redesign. For groups running the same promotion across multiple sites, this is the difference between one consistent campaign and six slightly different ones.
Tell us the date it has to be up by. Banners are usually the fastest thing we make, and we will confirm the schedule against your date before you commit.
Common questions about banners and flags
How long does a vinyl banner last outdoors in Florida?
Our outdoor vinyl banners are printed on 13oz or heavier material with UV-resistant inks, and finished with reinforced hems and grommets so they hold up against wind and weather. Actual life depends on sun exposure and how exposed the mounting is, so tell us where it is hanging and we will tell you what to expect.
Do you sell just the hardware or stands?
We can. Most customers get better value bundling the print and hardware together, and we carry retractable stands, X-stands, backdrop frames and flag poles. If you already have hardware and just need a new graphic printed, we can do that too, just send us the specs.
What file format do I need to send for printing?
High-resolution files at 300 DPI in PDF, AI, EPS or PNG are ideal. But do not worry if you do not have those. Send what you have, whether that is a logo, a photo or a rough sketch, and our designer will work from it.
Can you match specific Pantone or brand colours?
Yes. We print full colour CMYK and can match Pantone colours for brand consistency. Send us your Pantone number or brand guide. Colour accuracy matters most when you are printing for a franchise, a corporate event or a multi-location brand, and that is exactly when we keep the artwork on file so the next run matches.
